Returning with ‘Party Monster’, Saladin continues his rich vein of form in producing unique bangers. Releasing many tracks already this year, he returns to Phunk Junk with a Bass House infused monster which encompasses elements from all the genres he loves.
Big bass and infectious melody, the Chicago based artist continues to impress and cement himself as a solid contender for 2018’s best releaser. The melody encapsulates the listener and hooks them on a string, with the inescapable loop delightfully repeating. When the drums and bass enter, the listener is thrown back to reality and the groove is enough to get anyone up and dancing. True to its name, this song would be a monster at any show or party, but also great for working out or just listening or mixing at home. Saladin’s music is versatile, flawlessly produced, but perhaps most importantly – it’s a monster.
Phunk Junk is a favourite home for Saladin’s releases and he continues to create wonderful tracks of varying genres all for the same label. His work has a solid base and his fanbase continues to grow with each release. 2018 has so far been claimed by Saladin, but it leaves even more room for growth moving forwards.
